IFN Membership

The monthly IFN meetup in Austin is open to everyone, and it stays that way. Membership is what happens in between: a private channel with other international founders, a written library built from six months of those meetups, and one members-only call a month.

What you get for the year

Three things, and only three. All of them cover the weeks between one monthly meetup and the next.

Private member channel

A members-only channel on Slack or Discord. Ask your question on a Tuesday instead of holding it until the next meetup, and get an answer from someone who has already been through the same step.

  • Ask questions between meetups and get answers from other international founders
  • Share introductions, referrals and the names of people who actually helped you
  • Open from anywhere: you do not have to be in Austin that month

Resource library

Written notes, templates and checklists built from six months of IFN meetups in Austin: the questions founders brought to the room, and the answers that turned out to work.

  • Visa and immigration questions founders raised, and how they were handled
  • Opening a U.S. bank account and setting up a U.S. company as a non-citizen
  • Hiring and paying people across borders as a small, new company

Monthly office hours

One members-only call every month. Bring whatever you are working through and get a direct answer on your own situation.

  • One call every month, for members only
  • Held by the people who run IFN
  • Join from anywhere: the call is online

What it costs

Membership runs for a full year.

Founding Member

$149 / year

The price covers a full year and renews annually until you cancel. IFN does not take equity in your company, and you do not need to be a member to come to a meetup.

Payment is handled by Stripe. You will be asked to confirm the price before anything is charged, and you can cancel your membership at any time.
